The five-day race across the sand dunes of the United Arab Emirates has come to an end, with the riders crossing the finish line in Abu Dhabi. Over these five days, they covered nearly two thousand kilometers, including 1,189 kilometers of special stages. After long and sometimes exhausting stages, both CFMOTO Thunder Racing Team riders stand on the quad category podium, securing first and second place.
"The first kilometers of the final day I rode very cautiously, but then I thought—let’s have some fun. So I went full throttle and sprinted through the last hundred kilometers. I’m really happy and want to thank the team, our partners, and everyone who supports us. We started our season strong, and now we’re preparing for the next stage in South Africa. The quads will soon be packed and shipped there," said Antanas Kanopkinas after the finish.
Gaëtan Martinez was also thrilled about his first race in Abu Dhabi and his strong finish: "A great event, so many kilometers in the sand. It was my first time in this part of the world, and I’d love to come back. The result is fantastic—both CFMOTO quads on the podium. Up next is South Africa—I can't wait!"
CFMOTO Thunder Racing Team secured both top podium spots, with A. Kanopkinas clocking the fastest time among the quads and G. Martinez finishing second. Both riders are excited about completing the race with the best possible result and are already looking forward to the next competition, which will take place in South Africa in May.
