CFMOTO Thunder Racing Team Announces Changes Ahead of Upcoming Rally

ree

The CFMOTO Thunder Racing Team, competing in the World Rally-Raid Championship, is preparing for the final round of the season, which kicks off in Portugal next week. The team’s two riders – Antanas Kanopkinas and Gaetan Martinez – currently share the lead in the championship standings and can already celebrate this achievement. Still, successfully completing the upcoming race is equally important. Ahead of the start, several changes have also taken place within the team.

“The Quad World Championship, unfortunately, was significantly shortened. Out of the five rounds, the first and last – Dakar and Morocco – excluded this category. Because of this, our season as a team has been adjusted a little, but definitely not diminished. Of course, it’s always exciting to race in the World Championship, and Portugal will be the final round of the year, where once again we’ll compete on the same tracks as some of the biggest names in the sport,” said Kanopkinas before the start, adding with a smile that his mindset remains the same as before every race, with the main goal being to enjoy the experience.

One of the biggest news for this round is the addition of new partners, whose products are recognized worldwide. Among them is watch manufacturer Vostok Europe, with whom, Kanopkinas says, exciting projects are planned for all the team’s fans.

Another new partner is Tukada Tech – a company specializing in custom transport solutions, from outfitting emergency service vehicles to creating equipment for sports teams and other unique projects. Together with CFMOTO Thunder Racing Team, new products will also be introduced.

“Both companies operate globally, are ambitious, and at the same time never forget to enjoy the process. It’s great to have partners who share the same mindset. I believe these new partnerships will be beneficial not only for us but also for our partners, their customers and our fans,” said Kanopkinas.

The team will start at the BP Ultimate Rally Raid in Portugal on September 22, taking on five days of racing and more than 1,700 kilometers across all kinds of tracks and terrain.
